Procurement Officer

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents to ensure the assembly of realistic and commercial tenders.
  • Assist business units in assessing budgets prior to procuring goods and services.
  • Responsible for obtaining quotations.
  • Responsible for the preparation of purchase requisition.
  • Responsible for providing Bid Tabulation Forms
  • Responsible for the preparation and accurate processing of purchase orders.
  • Responsible for investigating qualitative and quantitative discrepancies between goods ordered and goods received.
  • Responsible for the accurate processing goods receipts.
  • Responsible for providing weekly feedback to the PM for the orders.
  • Responsible for generating monthly procurement reports, identify and investigate unusual items and report accordingly.
  • Prepare and follow up clearance procedure and any formal approvals
  • Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery lead time
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in related field from a three (3) year accredited university with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience or a technical degree from an accredited institute with a minimum of four (4) years of related experience
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • Proficient in relevant computer software
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in procurement environment
  • Knowledge of the accounting systems and processing activities
  • 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
Technical Skills or Knowledge
  • High level of English language skills, both written and oral
  • High level of computer literacy, with specific requirements for Microsoft office, ERP (Dolphin Program)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Project and time management ability working knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of procurement procedures and systems
  • A good understanding of contracts
  • A good level of computer ability awareness
  • Community, cultural and political awareness
  • Ability to proof read documents for quality

    3. Tracing systems problems, and coordinating with vendor to resolve errors

  • Prepare and build MIS reports and dashboard and support business intelligence requirements

  • Build integration to 3rd party systems and devices

Required Qualifications
  • Educational: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / IT / MIS or relevant

Professional Experience
  • Highly knowledgeable in information systems, web and mobile Applications, database management, reports and dashboard development, data query and extraction
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Software development
  • Knowledge in ERP, CRM, SQL, Databases and .Net
  • Structured Query Language (SQL): DML, DDL, DCL
  • Strong knowledge in any relational database and management like SQL server
